What is Whaly?
Whaly is an innovative analytics platform that connects directly to your company’s database, and allows you to create your company’s data language using SQL. This language is then queryable in a battle-tested user interface by any and all business users. This dramatically accelerates the pace at which your business users can uncover data-driven insights.
I don’t have database credentials. Can I still start the free trial?
Yes. Fill out the contact information section of the form. After we receive your request, we'll provision a Whaly Managed hosted database, so you have everything you need to start your trial.
What is a free trial?
This is an opportunity to try Whaly out for 14 days with no strings attached or commitment. First, we’ll set up Whaly's data discovery platform to query your database. Then, we’ll either create Explorations for you or help you set them up. From these explorations, you’ll be in a great position to evaluate: Whaly’s ability to deliver powerful analytics, how Whaly works with your internal processes, and what features your organization will require.
How soon can I start the free trial?
After you submit your free trial request in the form, we’ll get in touch with you as quickly as possible. Within seven days, you should have your Whaly login credentials so that you can dive into data exploration right away. If it’s urgent, let us know and we’ll do our best to get you up and running sooner.
What does my free trial include?
We’ll connect Whaly to your analytics database and give you access to a trial implementation that includes all features and up to five users, so that you can get a feel for our platform and make a fair evaluation. It also includes hands-on support and a tailored experience so that you can make the most of our free trial.
Does Whaly store my data?
No. Whaly accesses your analytics database in real-time and only returns the data in the format necessary for the requested query. See our Security page for our certifications and more details.
Which databases can Whaly connect to?
Whaly can connect to any relational database or streaming engine. Today, we support BigQuery, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redshift, Databricks, Presto, Kafka and Athena. If you don’t see your database listed here, don’t worry, we can still integrate with it – we just haven’t added it to our current list of supported integrations yet.
