As a business intelligence platform, we strive to enable our customers to easily get started with BI projects on Whaly. That’s why we’ve built various native connectors, and offer this initial set of connectors bundled into our BI platform. Our suite of out-of-the-box connectors are available with our BI platform to empower you to get started quickly and easily, without any friction.

That said, we’re not a pure ETL player. That’s not how we started, and not where we’re heading. We’re committed to our mission to provide analytics that benefit everyone, and we want to help your BI projects be the best that they can be.

So, to help you further strengthen and enhance your BI projects, we wanted to equip you with an essential resource guide to the ETL possibilities beyond Whaly’s connectors. They’re endless, and are provided by the top ETL vendors on the market: Fivetran, Hevo, Airbyte, and Stitch. As we don’t compete in the same space as the ETLs, this is our neutral read on the current ETL landscape.

As our CTO, Pierre de Poulpiquet, puts it, we’re like a gaming console that offers a few games in the box so you can start playing right away, but it’s not in our plans to develop an unlimited range of games. That’s not Whaly’s main strength or focus - that’s BI.
