How to calculate TCV (total contract value) in Orbit

Make the most of your Orbit data

What is TCV (total contract value) ?

TCV (total contract value) is the total value of the contract. This includes all contract no matter their duration, so if you have signed a contract for 1 month and one for 1 year the TCV will be the sum of all contract value. Make sure TCV also includes the value from one-time charges, professional service fees, and recurring charges.

What is Orbit ?

Orbit's unique approach is based on the Orbit Model, a framework to visualize and quantify your entire community so that you can scale high gravity communities. Grow and measure your community across any platform with Orbit. It is like mission control for your community.

How to calculate TCV (total contract value) in Orbit ?

It can be difficult to calculate TCV (total contract value) directly inside of Orbit; that's where Whaly comes in.

Whaly helps you build models on top of Orbit and many other solutions. You simply connect Whaly to your Orbit account, and then you can create your formula in Whaly to calculate your TCV (total contract value).

Mansa grew really fast in the past months and we were in urge of more precise metrics, especially for acquisition and deals analysis. Our engineering team was already swamped so we started our data analysis with Whaly. We compute our CAC per acquisition channel and understood at what stage the pipeline is under performing in minutes.
